BIO
San Francisco rock band Sparkle Plenty has been "On the Run" since 2018. The music is firmly rooted in ROCK with definite nods to and reverence for punk and garage rock influences. The band's first full length record entitled "On the Run" was released in late 2021 and was followed up in 2023 by a second full length release called "I Was Here". Sparkle Plenty is currently busy playing gigs and working hard to get its music out to the world at large. If and when you're ready to rock we suggest that you check out Sparkle Plenty!!

Sparkle Plenty is actively gigging in the San Francisco Bay Area. Among others, they've played 924 Gilman, Ivy Room, Winters Tavern, DNA Lounge, Hotel Utah, The Knockout and Toot's Tavern, averaging 2-3 gigs per month.

In the Spring of 2023 Sparkle Plenty did a small southwest tour, covering LA, Las Vegas, San Diego. This was followed by a northwest tour in 2024, covering Seattle, Bremerton, Tacoma, Salem and Medford.
​
The band's goals for 2024 include reaching a wider audience and playing more shows outside of the San Francisco Bay Area.
